Ryan is a Business Advisory Partner in the Perth and Dundee offices of Johnston Carmichael, having joined them in 2006. He completed his ACCA qualification in 2005, becoming a fellow member in 2010. Ryan also completed his ATT qualification in 2009, becoming a fellow member in 2019.

Ryan acts for a diverse group of owner managed businesses in various sectors and sits on a number of committees and groups within Johnston Carmichael, including the Hospitality and Tourism Focus Group.
