Digital Marketing Short Courses
The Scottish Funding Council has funded Abertay University to produce short courses in Digital Marketing that are free to applicants.
The result is a newly-created suite of courses which are a springboard for people looking to market their businesses in an increasingly digital environment, post pandemic. Studying the courses will help people upskill in their current job, take on new responsibilities or help prepare for a new career. Abertay University can offer them at no cost as they are fully-funded by the Scottish Funding Council in response to an identified skills shortage.
There are four courses, delivered online with live, interactive teaching sessions:
- Digital Marketing Audit – auditing digital marketing environments
- Digital Marketing Toolkit – creating successful digital marketing campaigns
- Digital Marketing Strategy – developing creative and effective digital strategies
- Digital Marketing Metrics – analysing digital data and metrics
The first course, Digital Marketing Audit, starts 23 June. The second course, Digital Marketing Toolkit, starts 7 July. To find out more and book see abertay.ac.uk/shortcourses.
Who are they for?
There are no academic entry requirements for the course and they are for people currently in work, furloughed, self-employed or planning a return to work, Abertay University welcomes all applications.
Those taking the courses will also have the opportunity to complete other free short courses in Digital Business and Managing Transformational Change. Those who successfully complete the whole series will be awarded a Graduate Certificate in Digital Business, a credited university qualification.
