Success Story - Journeycall
Journeycall, part of the ESP group, is one of the largest employers in Arbroath, employing over 400 staff to deliver its seamless and end-to end travel solutions designed to make life simple for its customers.
Working with clients such as Transport for London, the Association of Train Operating Companies, London Councils and the Scottish Government the company chose Angus as its customer service base.
- Relocation to a new company headquarters to Kirkton Industrial Estate, Arbroath.
- Working closely with the Business Angus team to recruit 100 additional staff.
- With a large pool of qualified, skilled staff in the local area, the Business Angus team held awareness raising events, sourced interview and induction training venues and helped ensure Journeycall’s new employeers were not financially disadvantaged whilst awaiting their first pay packet.
- Business Angus liaised with local transport companies to improve the ease with which Journeycall staff from outwith the Arbroath area could travel by public transport to their new place of work.
